What is the purpose of The Point Games?
The Point Games exists to kickstart experimentation-first building on PointsMarket. Who is eligible to apply?
The Point Games is open to builders of all kinds. Eligible participants include: • Crypto-native developers • Builders between projects • Teams that are new to PointsMarket • Anyone willing to bring a new idea to life There are no tracks, no themes, and no restrictions on what you can build. *If you have previously received funding from the PointsMarket Foundation, this may be considered in the event that your project is selected as a winner.

How are projects evaluated?
Projects are evaluated holistically, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, originality, and long-term potential, rather than polish or short-term traction. As well as a focus on the potential of the founding team. Judges consider factors including the quality and differentiation of the idea, the team's willingness to take risks and experiment on-chain, technical execution relative to the project's stage, the strength and crypto-native experience of the builders, and the project's potential to grow into a breakout application on PointsMarket. There are no predefined tracks or categories, and strong projects may look very different from one another. The goal is to surface promising ideas and builders at scale, then support them as they emerge.

How does the prize pool work?
The total prize pool is $2,000,000, designed to be flexible and outcome-driven. Planned allocations: • $200,000 grand prize - $50,000 up front, $150,000 unlocked through milestones • $150,000 second place - $50,000 up front, $100,000 unlocked through milestones • $100,000 third place - $50,000 up front, $50,000 unlocked through milestones • $60,000 total prize pool for referrals - $20,000 if you refer the 1st place winner - $15,000 if you refer the 2nd place winner - $11,000 if you refer the 3rd place winner - $2,000 if you refer a 4th-10th place winner The remainder of winning projects will be awarded on a case-by-case basis, with total award amounts and any milestone-based unlocks determined individually.
